This 2-session course (2 × 3 hours) exposes participants to the traditional stencil method of Silkscreen. Engaging all of one’s senses throughout the process, an image created on a clear matrix is photographically transformed to a silk mesh stretched over a metal frame and hand-printed on paper to create a limited edition of multiples. Emphasis to one's overall sensory human experience - touch, sight, self-reflection and communal connection will be encouraged throughout each participant's journey. This workshop invites a respite from daily virtual interactions to an intimate, welcoming, tactile exchange of making, ideas and storytelling.
